Service Description

Our academy takes horsemanship and holistic health a step further, and beyond the saddle. We bridge the gap between technical skill and emotional connection. Our students don’t just learn to ride, they learn to relate. We offer a holistic program that nurtures the horse/human relationship through communication, behavior, and emotional intelligence. Each session includes dedicated time for reflection, check in, and holistic discussion. This experience has proven beneficial for all and is especially impactful in helping find confidence and processing of emotions and feelings in a way that naturally happens when walking through this experience while partnering with horses. Alongside horse care and biology, we weave in essential life principles: - Self-Regulation - Choice, control, safety, and comfort - Presence - Mindfulness, grounding, and intuition - Empowerment - Setting boundaries, defining and actioning goals, and building confidence. Through the gift of horses and nature, we help students reject labels, embrace their differences, and find their own unique voice. While there will be days when we focus on basic horsemanship and riding, specifically: There will be time to focus on each person in their present moment, doing a check-in and time of discussion. You will learn about the horse/human relationship through a focus on communication and behavior, history of the horse and stories of famous horses, Equine health and Biology, Human Health and Biology, Equine and Human self-care, and Equine breeding and genetics.
